This site is a not-for-profit collaboration between Meghan Shigo and Jake Nolan. As historic home owners and proud Anaheim-iens (that’s what we’re called right?), our goal is to provide information on the best that Anaheim’s historic neighborhoods have to offer. Whether it’s a great coffee shop, a contractor who’s familiar with working on older homes, or being a hub for local events, our aim is to give it a platform. Hi neighbors! My name is Meghan Shigo and I have been a top agent in Orange County for nearly 22 years! I live in Anaheim and love the city and everything it has to offer. I’m always around town whether it’s listing a home on your street or supporting a local business. Anaheim is a part of who I am and I love supporting the city that has supported me for years.
Though 2020 brought many surprises our way, I was not surprised by the increasing demand of home buyers wanting to call Anaheim “home”. Jake Nolan
Having fallen in love with the historic charm of Anaheim’s Colony district, my partner and I bought a home here in 2018. After working to restore our home’s historic charm, we were part of the Mill’s Act class of 2019 and have continued to find ways to improve our home and make sure our pride shows. In between house projects inside and out, I’ve been working to become a more active part of the community by doing things like hosting district meetings and leading neighborhood safety walks.
I work as a digital designer focusing on websites and app in the entertainment and IoT industries for a variety of global brands. You can find samples of my work and hobbies at the button below.
